Set Sail for Spring Break: The Ultimate Cruise Adventure for Families and Friends

Spring break is calling. Gather your high school friends (and their families!) for a cruise experience designed to keep everyone grinning from embarkation to homecoming. Teens can dive into endless onboard sports, from pickup basketball and soccer to surfing on the FlowRider®, or even conquering the rock climbing wall together, perfect for building bragging rights and lifelong bonds. Parents, you are covered too. While the kids team up for tournaments or friendly matches, unwind in the world-class spa, soak in the adults-only pool, or sip a craft cocktail on a sun deck with an ocean view. Every evening, you will regroup and swap stories over delicious meals, then laugh together at dazzling shows or during late-night ice cream runs. With memory-making adventures in every port and just the right balance of action and relaxation, this is the spring break your whole crew will remember for years.

MSC Meraviglia

Teen Spaces & Activities

  • Teens Club (Ages 15-17):
A dedicated hangout just for teens - no parents, no little kids. It’s kitted out with gaming consoles (think PlayStation, Xbox, VR), chill-out zones, foosball, and big-screen movies. There are daily meet-ups, tournaments, late-night parties, and themed events like disco nights or karaoke battles.

Adventure Features

  • Sportplex Arena:
A multi-level sports court for basketball, soccer, and group games. Plus, they host dodgeball, volleyball, and even late-night tournaments designed for teens/young adults.
  • Himalayan Bridge:
A high “rope walk” obstacle course above the ship’s top deck for adrenaline-seekers (and amazing selfies).
  • F1 Simulator & Flight Simulator:
These are big hits - real-feel racing or flying experiences (extra charge applies, but SO worth it for older teens).
  • Bowling Alley & VR Maze:
Great for evenings or sea days, and awesome for small-group competition.

Pool & Party Scene

  • Aqua Park:
Teens can hit the big pools, splash parks, and hot tubs. The space gets lively in the afternoons - loud music, group games, and spontaneous dance parties.
  • Theme Nights:
MSC throws White Parties, silent discos, and 70s/80s throwback nights in the main atrium, where older teens are welcome and often lead the fun.

Tech & Social-Friendly

  • Ship-wide Wi-Fi (fee applies) - so TikTok and Instagramming is completely possible.
  • Interactive screens and the MSC for Me app: Book activities, chat with friends on board, and never miss a meet-up.

Food, Freedom, & Chill Spaces

  • Marketplace Buffet is open late for pizza, global snacks, and mocktails - zero adult supervision required for teens this age.
  • Plenty of grab-and-go snack counters if they’re always on the move.
  • Teens (17-18) are invited to “Young Adult” meetups for late snacks and mocktail hangouts, bridging the gap between the Teen Club and adult nightlife.
  • Galleria Meraviglia indoor promenade - neon lights, sweets shops, gelato stands, arcades, and live street performances.
  • Late-night options: Many venues are open past midnight and safe for older teens - bowling, sports bar, karaoke, and the “Edge” club (no alcohol for under-18, but plenty of dancing and socializing).
